Teaser Tuesday #33: “Starters (Starters #1)” by Lissa Price

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

    • Grab your current read
    • Open to a random page
    • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
    • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
    • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Hardcover, 368 pages
Published March 13th 2012 by Delacorte Books for Young Readers
Teaser from page 3 (digital ARC):

A massive copper fountain flowed with endless water alongside one wall. The way they were letting this clear, clean water fall and splash, you’d think the stuff was free.

I just started this one, finally, this morning and I’m really enjoying it so far. After reading Portrait of a Starter: An Unhidden Story and finally finding time to dive into Starters, I can honestly say this is a book worth checking out.
