Trailer Thursday: TEMPEST by Julie Cross

I was lucky enough to read TEMPEST a few months back and I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. If you haven't already pre-ordered TEMPEST, I'd say now would be the time to do so as it'll be releasing next Tuesday! And don't forget to pick up Tomorrow is Today (for free) for your e-readers while you're at it!

{Fan Made} Teaser Trailer Thursday: Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I’m a huge fan of Jennifer’s and I absolutely loved OBSIDIAN, and after noticing there was no trailer for OBSIDIAN, I decided to toy around in Sony Vegas to see what I could come up. Now, I’m no expert when it comes to making trailers/movies, and I’ve just recently learned how to use Sony Vegas (I know, I’m slow), but I actually really like how this one came out. Plus, those of you who have had the chance to read OBSIDIAN, you’ll appreciate a certain image towards the end. 😉

Note: this is more of a teaser trailer for OBSIDIAN.

This took foreverrrrrrrr to upload (darn you, YouTube).

Trailer Thursday: “The Hobbit” and “The Dark Knight Rises”

This week was an excellent week for movie trailers. Who else is excited for The Hobbit (Part 1) and The Dark Knight Rises?

Oh, and you can find some awesome new stills for TDKR over here.

I’m already loving you, 2012.

Trailer Thursday: “Melody Burning”

Today’s Trailer Thursday pick is Melody Burning by Whitley Strieber.

Description:

Beresford doesn't remember much about his past or how he came to live in the chutes and crawl spaces of the posh high-rise that shares his name. But when rock star and teen sensation Melody McGrath moves to an apartment on the fiftieth floor, he knows he has to be near her. Although she doesn't realize it, Melody is threatened by more dangerous forces than her manipulative stage mom and the pressures of life in the spotlight. The owner of the glamorous building has been hiding a fatal secret within its walls, and Beresford puts all his plans at risk. Will Beresford and Melody be able to escape with their lives (and love) intact?

Have you checked out Melody Burning yet? Do you plan on picking it up if yo haven't?

Trailer Thursday: “The Future of Us”

Today’s Trailer Thursday pick is “The Future of Us”, which is out now! I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while now, but I doubt I’ll have the time to do so for a while. It does sound incredibly interesting and I adore the cover.

Trailer Thursday: Everneath by Brodi Ashton

Today’s Trailer Thursday selection is Everneath by Brodi Ashton, releasing January 2012 from HarperTeen:

Last spring, Nikki Beckett vanished, sucked into an underworld known as the Everneath. Now she’s returned—to her old life, her family, her boyfriend—before she’s banished back to the underworld . . . this time forever. She has six months before the Everneath comes to claim her, six months for good-byes she can’t find the words for, six months to find redemption, if it exists.

I’ll be reviewing this next month!

Trailer Thursday: GLOW by Amy Kathleen Ryan

I really enjoyed “Glow”. I’d highly recommend picking this one up.

Trailer Thursday: “Crossed” by Ally Condie

Like most of you, I’m eagerly awaiting the release of “Crossed”. Earlier this week, EW revealed the trailer for “Crossed” on their website. Unfortunately it isn’t embeddable, so you’ll have to click the image to see the trailer…but I’m excited. 🙂

Hardcover, 384 pages
Expected publication: November 1st 2011 by Dutton Juvenile

In search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky – taken by the Society to his certain death – only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake.

Cassia’s quest leads her to question much of what she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a different life across the border. But as Cassia nears resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, an invitation for rebellion, an unexpected betrayal, and a surprise visit from Xander – who may hold the key to the uprising and, still, to Cassia’s heart – change the game once again. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

Trailer Thursday: “Carrier of the Mark”

“Carrier of the Mark” came out last week. It’s the first book discovered on InkPop to be published. I haven’t had the chance to read the final book yet, but I did read what was on InkPop before and I can’t wait to dive into this one. It sounds fantastic.

Trailer Thursday: “Liesl & Po” by Lauren Oliver

“Liesl & Po” by Lauren Oliver was released on Tuesday. I’m finaly starting it later tonight, so I figured I’d pick it for today’s Thursday Trailer post.
